Lost On The River is a podcast about Cincinnati music history and Cincinnati music present. Hosted by Aaron Sharpe (WNKU, Cincinnati Reds), Elias Leisring (Eli's BBQ), and Bill Furbee (Cincinnati USA Music Heritage Foundation), Lost On The River is recorded at the historic Herzog Studio in downtown Cincinnati.
For our 1st episode we discuss why this show exists and what we hope to accomplish.
We'll play a couple songs recorded at the studio. One from a long time ago and one from not so long ago.
We are visited by local favs Dawg Yawp, who will play a few songs and discuss their recent successes and plans for the future. And finally Citybeat music editor Mike Breen comes in to talk about the Cincy Groove Music Festival and other fun stuff.
This program is presented by the Cincinnati USA Music Heritage Foundation, a non-profit entity which strives to preserve the Cincinnati region’s musical past and to connect it with our contemporary and future artistic communities.

Big thanks to our sponsors, the Thunderdome Restaurant Group - bringing you favorites like the Eagle, Maplewood Kitchen and Bar, Krueger’s and Bakersfield. Also, thanks to Ottos Covington, and Eli’s Bbq.
