It is not that New Year Resolutions don't work, it is really about your beliefs. Do your beliefs support the new changes you want to make? If your beliefs are not in alignment with your New Year's resolution, then it may be difficult for you to produce the results you desire. You can only get so far with discipline, logic and will power. What happens when life sends you a big fat juicy problem that takes you off track? If your mind is aligned with your goal then you will get right back on track, but if your goal is in conflict with your mindset (beliefs, thoughts, emotions, behaviour) you may not get the results you were looking to achieve.

It's not that people give up on their dreams, it's that they are using an old blueprint to take them in a new direction. If your mindset remains the same, then your results will stay the same, no matter how many new gym memberships you sign up for.

'CHANGE YOUR MIND, CHANGE YOUR LIFE'

BELIEFS

The driving force that drives you towards or away from your goals!

What are beliefs?

Beliefs are a set of guiding principles by which we live our life. You may have decided that this is ‘real’ to you and have decided to rule out any other possibility.

Let's look at some beliefs that may be holding you back from fulfilling your dreams:-

  • Do you believe that you can never lose the problematic 20 pounds that you have been trying to lose for the past 5 years?
  • Do you believe that you can never attract an amazing partner?
  • Do you believe that you are unlucky in love?
  • Do you believe that this is your lot and nothing will ever change?

Well, I am here to tell you that those beliefs are a LIE.

Beliefs are not set in stone, but you have chosen to keep believing them. You attract thoughts that align with your beliefs on a daily basis, which then become habits that drive you to a result or becomes your destiny.

THOUGHTS (Logical Mind)

Your thoughts are automatically born from your dominant beliefs. Your thoughts support your dominant beliefs. You have the same 70,000 thoughts a day because your beliefs have not changed. To have different thoughts you need to have different beliefs. If you don't change your beliefs and continue to think habitual thoughts, then you will experience emotions that may not feel good

EMOTIONS (Emotional Mind)

Your emotions are unprocessed thoughts that move around in the body. Emotions can eventually lead to ill health. Our thoughts and emotions influence our attitudes. These thoughts are waiting to process, but if we continue to have the same beliefs which produce more of the same type of thoughts then we stockpile these negative emotions in our body; which means when we get triggered we have a certain attitude and behave in a way that drives us away from our goals and not towards our goals and dreams.

BEHAVIOUR

(BEHAVE): How we (BE) determines what we (HAVE) or how we behave determines what we receive out of life.

Our dreams and goals either flow into our life or we have stagnation or attract things that we do not want and we react to those things negatively, which is now our dominant behaviour. To instal a new behaviour, we need to change our emotions, thoughts and beliefs - starting with our beliefs.

RESULTS

The results we get -v- the results we want!

The results we attain determine what beliefs, thoughts, emotions and behaviour we applied. This is neither bad nor good, it is just information for us to decide whether we want more of what we have been producing or whether we want something new.
