Hired by Alameda County Public Defender James Hooley in 1976; spent two plus years rotating to Livermore, then Hayward and Oakland Muni before being transferred to 1225 Fallon in where I stayed until 1980, when I left the office and rented space from George Walker in San Francisco. Been in private practice ever since.
