There’s a little saying that goes, “a text without a context, is just a pretext.” What does this have to do with studying biblical prophecy? In today’s episode, your host Steve Wood will explain the importance of studying a particular verse in the Bible while also looking at it’s entire context. You take away the context – you lose the meaning. While continuing our study of St. Paul’s Epistle to the Thessalonians, Steve will investigate the concept of the Great Tribulation while studying Thessalonians 4:17 in it’s entire context. One of the biggest debates in the study of Thessalonians and biblical prophecy is the question – Will Christians go through what is called the Great Tribulation, or will they somehow be taken off the scene (through the Rapture) and not go through the Great Tribulation? You will learn the answer in today’s episode.
