We’re taking a break this week from our journey through the Gospel of Matthew. We’ve set up a reading schedule that will lead you this week to the dark night of “Good Friday” and into the glorious revelation of the Empty Tomb on Easter Sunday. Today we find ourselves in Mark 2. Yes, it’s technically “Palm Sunday” but bear with me. I believe God is in this. To zoom in, let's look at where we find ourselves in Mark 2. Jesus is healing all through Mark 1. All is going great. Then, here something happens. There’s some push back from people that “know” God. Jesus isn’t what they expected. Jesus does more than we expect!
