When we look at the world around us and especially when we are encountering tribulation, we have to have the correct perspective and worldview. It is man's nature to attempt to blame others for his own problems, and inevitably in the midst of tribulation, man will be tempted to blame God as the source of his trouble. The Holy Spirit through James points the finger correctly at man for the sin and wickedness that we see in this world, but also ascribes all glory and praise to God for any degree of goodness we see in this world.
