When Naaman the Syrian was confronted with a command from the Lord to heal his leprosy, he was initally furious and not willing to follow the Lord's prescription. What was the problem? What Naaman "thought" would occur was different than what the Lord commanded, and when his will didn't match up with God's will, he was wroth. How do we respond when God's answer to prayer isn't what we "thought", when God's will conflicts with our will do we humbly submit to the Lord's pathway who knows better than us? or do we try to chart our own course to our own destruction?
