Born and raised in Munich, Germany, Alfred has spent over 35 wild years helping foreigners navigate the Japanese legal system, assisting thousands of people along the way. In this episode, we cover his background and entrance into the field of legal consultation, common legal problems experienced by foreigners in Japan, and his arrest in 2011 for overstaying on an expired visa.
