The answer is a custom-made rotor in the Lockridge instance… That’s what makes all the difference!

The link among the three, to help us understand all three, is Byron Brubaker’s suggestion on how to make improvements to the Newman motor.

In other words, Lockridge custom fabricated the rotor for his device. Not all of the components were made by his assistants. He actually did more than merely assemble all of the components. He also custom fabricated the rotor and combined it with all the other components that were made for him by his mentally challenged assistants.

https://vinyasi.podbean.com/e/comparing-and-contrasting-the-lockridge-device-with-the-newman-device/

I couldn’t help myself this morning… In the midst of all of my emotionally charged inspiration, I started brainstorming all kinds of relevancies, no matter how relevant — or not — they may have been, because it all had to do with magnetism and how we interpret magnetism and sometimes leave out things because we are hogtied to tradition and convention which Tom’s device helps a person to think about and not take for granted. Anyway, this dude over on the East Coast wants to build one of my simulations. And being homeless, I can’t simulate anything on a public library computer of any merit… Not that I haven’t tried! So I have turned my attention to the promotion of Newman and then I realized this morning there’s Tom’s device: a tried and true magnetic machine which Tom has spent much of his life developing. So now, I’ve given the guy on the East Coast four different assignments which should be more than enough to keep him busy: Lockridge, Newman, Falstad, and Tom (by giving him Tom’s email address and showing him the blog of our zoom dialogue posted to Quora). I wanna focus on devices that have already been built and have historical precedence rather than giving him any suggestions of mine that I’ve never built and I don’t know anybody else who have built them so why should I encourage him to go out on a limb to waste his time and money on something that has no physical legacy to back it up? Tom’s device, below, really has no relevance to the other three. But because it deals with magnetism, and the other three have been misinterpreted as being predicated upon magnetism at their core, I thought Tom’s device would show some contrast.
