The Maine Road Ramble is back for another week of Manchester City coverage! The Blues had a roller coaster of a week so we're all lucky this recording took place after the positive note that was the Burnley match, but this episode begins with the gloom that followed dropping points to Newcastle on the road. The lads take a look at just what went wrong for City and what this means for the club's chances in the league. We get back our optimism back soon enough though, as City's 4-1 victory against Burnley at the midweek saw Guardiola's side return to the best version of themselves and recouped our confidence in the team going forward! Finally, the Manchester derby looms this weekend so Kevin and Ger discussed the nerves these rivalry matches present and previewed what to expect tactically as well. Incorrect predictions followed as always, come have a listen and send us any and all feedback! Feel free to interact with us on Twitter @MaineRoadRamble or via email at maineroadramble@gmail.com. Please give us a positive rating on your preferred podcast platform if you enjoy and have the time, thanks!
