Thank you for all of your support. Please let us know what you think about our podcast and what topic you may want to hear from us. Leaders, Lead Well!

As job coaches, Maikel and I have seen a disturbing trend in the practice of HR ghosting candidates after multiple interviews. This is starting to become an expected trend for several of our job seekers that we work with. Ghosting candidates after an interview is not a professional or respectful practice. It also speaks volumes about your personal leadership ability as well as the culture present in the organization you represent.
It is important for HR to communicate with candidates, whether they are being moved forward in the hiring process or not. Providing timely closure to candidates, even if it is a rejection, shows respect for their time and effort in applying and interviewing for the position. Ghosting candidates can create a negative experience and impression of the company, which can impact the company's reputation and ability to attract top talent in the future.
Rich and Maikel discuss the increasing trend of ghosting job candidates in this episode of Mainline Executive Coaching ACT.
