Yinz ever think about those movies from your childhood that maybe had a huge influence on your, or helped shape you into the person you are today? Well we kinda did, so we decided to make this a topic! We'r'e talking about the movies that we watched as kids that really stood out, the movies we watched as kids that we probably shouldn't have, and the movies that we never truly understood as kids, but then came back to as adults and either made sense of it, or just completely broke down, because some things just hit different when you're older. With newcomer Gabe DeRose and podcast favorite, Hank Fodor, the three of us dive into what our childhoods looked like, and also why we're all just so cool. So. There's that. The themed cocktail of this episode, is the Blue Lagoon (not that that's a a movie that any of us watched as kids...but it is the name of a movie...and I happened to have all the ingredients for it).
The Blue Lagoon
1.5oz Vodka
1/2oz Blue Curacao
4oz Lemonade
Lemon wheel for a garnish.
Mix all ingredients together in a shaker with ice, serve into a chilled martini glass, and garnish with a lemon wedge.
