In this episode, me and some Making A Martini Alums talk about the Apple+ TV show, Ted Lasso. A show that came out of no where, and became America's Sweetheart. Myself, Adele Stewart, Lisa Ann Goldsmith, and Don Shrawder, break down our favorite characters, favorite episodes, and talk about why Ted Lasso is the hero that everyone needs right now. The themed cocktail of this episode is the Lemon Lavender Mojito. Links below! "I do believe in ghosts, but most importantly, I think they should believe in themselves." -Ted Lasso.
Lemon Lavender Mojito
2oz White Rum
3oz Lemon Lavender Simple Syrup (also below)
1 lemon's worth of lemon juice (fresh squeeze)
5-8 Mint leaves
3oz Club Soda
Mix all ingredients together (except Club Soda!) in a shaker with ice. Pour into a rocks glass with ice and then add the club soda. Garnish with mint leaves as desired.
Lemon Lavender Simple Syrup
2 teaspoons of Lavender
1 Tablespoon of Lemon Zest
1 cup of sugar
2 cups of water.
Bring all ingredients to a boil, and continue until the sugar has dissolved. Strain and pour syrup into an easy to pour container.
