Mike Robinson is the VP of Global Manufacturing for doTERRA Essential Oils, one of the most successful direct sales companies in the world.
3.5-4 million bottles of oil manufactured a month in Utah alone
25+ offices around the world
3 Main manufacturing facilities in Pleasant Grove, Ireland, and Brazil
Nearing 10,000 SKUs
In the mid-2010s, doTERRA went from a small facility to building their own campus, investing in state-of-the-art equipment to ensure quality at every step.
Mike has been there to see doTERRA's growth from the beginning. He has seen the growth of the current campus, led the manufacturing expansion into facilities in Ireland and Brazil, implemented major processes and systems to keep the system efficient, organized, survived the Covid-19 surge, and produced the best oils on the market.
Here are a few of the many things Mike touches on:

  • Why grit is an underrated value. Create a culture in which people have pride in their work and want to make their team proud.
  • Reward good ideas and do more than give a pat on the back.
  • Going to digital can be brutal, but it's worth it. It reduces errors and saves on costs.
  • Social corporate responsibility creates an environment that affects everyone. There is more to this world than going to work and collecting a paycheck.
  • And, of course, his favorite doTERRA products.

doTERRA sets a fantastic example for other manufacturing companies in the state in the way they treat their employees and make a difference in the world.
