Michael Riehle from the Department of Entomology, University of Arizona and his research colleagues are looking to develop novel strategies for controlling mosquitoes, and therefore malaria, in particular by examining the basic molecular mechanisms regulating reproduction, immunity, and lifespan in the vector.
