In this episode Mal and Rich explore the topic of Men and touch, and in particular, why is it that many men in western cultures (especially anglophile cultures) struggle with touching and hugging each other?
In fact even just asking this question can lead to all sorts of scorn, ribbing, and discomfort amongst men. This being the case, what is the consequence of our difficulty with touch? How does it impact our own personal wellbeing and our sense of connection? What do we think are our fears around touch, and why is it so hard for so many men?
Then finally they look at how we can move through this roadblock and find a way for men to connect through touch in comfortable and freeing way. Once more Mal and Rich swim around an uncomfortable and little talked about subject, asking questions of themselves and society, seeking to find a new, more connected way for men to be in the world.
