TRIGGER WARNING - This podcast may contain subjects that some may find upsetting.

Former Mansfield Town star Martin Pemberton joins us for an episode of Stags Stories like never before - as we tackle Mental Health and Wellbeing, exploring the dark side of what can happen when the full time whistle has blown.

Part of the 2001-02 Promotion squad, Martin shares his memories of that time including how boss Bill Dearden took a chance on him at a time he thought it was over before it begun, and how his two season spell was the best time of his career.

Not only does Martin share more about his time at the Stags, he speaks openly and honestly about his own battles with Mental Health. From being a star on the pitch, to struggling to adapt to a "normal" every day life.

Now running "just 1 to 11 it coaching" - Martin is an advocate for speaking up and uses his own experiences to help others.

In this episode, Martin & Craig speak openly about their own experiences with Mental Health, looking at triggers, signs and more - encouraging people to seek help if they need it, and to use the power of Football for good to check in on friends and family.
