Welcome to the second addition of the Briar Report Weekly. Thanks again to Phil, editor and chief of The Briar Report https://www.briarreport.com/ and Briar Report Magazine. ( https://www.briarreport.org/ ) Without his sending the story of the week this series wouldn't work.

The main talk of last week was a Bill being introduced in the house seeking to raise the national smoking age to 21. While that is really nothing to worry about in and of itself, other issues that are shoe horned into the bill are.

Next, one that I found interesting, a story about a university in Japan no longer hiring smokers.

And finally a neat little piece about the Reagan Years.
