The British cellist Julian Lloyd Webber was born into one of the country's most famous musical families, winning a scholarship to the Royal College of Music at just sixteen years old.

He went on to sell hundreds of thousands of records, playing in some of the world's greatest orchestras until his career was cut short due to an injury in his neck.
