Man Injured in Stolen Vehicle Crash on Riverside Parkway
Around 9 AM, an Atlanta man, identified as 26-year-old Jamal Muhammad, was seriously injured in a dramatic single-vehicle crash on I-20 near Riverside Parkway. The incident began when a Fulton County police officer spotted Muhammad driving a stolen car on Fulton Industrial Boulevard and attempted to pull him over. Instead of stopping, Muhammad fled, heading westbound on I-20 in the wrong direction.
The pursuit continued into Cobb County, where Muhammad lost control near the Riverside Parkway offramp. The car spun out, veering off the road into the grassy shoulder before striking a tree. Muhammad sustained life-threatening injuries and was quickly transported to Grady Hospital.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Cobb County Police Department at 770-499-3987.
