There is a flow and order that God has intended for every marriage and home to experience. To gain the fruit of this blessing, we need to understand God’s foundation in how relationships should conduct themselves in marriage. We must establish the home on a foundation of what God’s Word teaches, for this will affect our marriages and children’s relationships for eternity.
Every person brings into marriage a foundation, good or bad, that stems from what was cultivated and established early on in their own home growing up. The good needs to be reaffirmed and honored. The dysfunctional and sinful needs to be recognized and broken so that God can deliver us to walk in His ways.
But do we even know something is broken when it is all we have ever known?
That is why being taught is so important.
God’s Flow for Peace and Order
God also established a flow of the marriage relationship that can reflect the unity and power that flows in the Godhead and in Christ’s relationship to the church. When we live in his flow of relationship, peace and fruitfulness is experienced.
As the Word says, “God is not the author of confusion but of peace…” (1 Corinthians 14:33)
God designed the home to be a safe place of peace, where all can grow in health and a sound mind. When the flow of the marriage relationship is not applied, there are many spiritual battles that can arise over time.
If it is not properly applied, we will see many spiritual battles arise over the course of time. In today’s day and age, there is a great spiritual war over how a man and woman should relate to one another, especially when it comes to order, flow and leadership. Because of this, confusion exists and many areas are under attack.

- What it means to be fully submitted to Christ and fathered by God.

- What happens when fear gets into the picture and we are not equipped to live in God’s flow and order.
