This clip is about "thought-leadershiip." Everyone is talking about how to be a "mini-celebrity" in your targeted niche area, but what exactly does that mean? Here is my two cents on this important topic that can help you grow your ebuiness and expand your digital empire!
The "thought leaders" that I have seen in my lifetime share two unique qualities:
(1) They are INCREDIBLY KNOWLEDGEABLE, having a total mastery of their subject area (the "thought" part). Meaning, they took the time and applied the analytics to become the guru in their field.
and,
(2) They are TOTALLY PASSIONATE about their subject areas (i.e. they have a "fire in the belly" and you can almost smell the smoke as they guide you down their train of thought). They like to share what they know to try to help others in their business and personal journeys. They are thought provoking!
They crave "breaking news" in their area of interest, and have the birds-eye view to put things in perspective and enjoy a thoughtful debate.
Taking the above I believe:
(a) Knowledge + Passion = Confidence.
(b) Confidence (coupled with a personality and a gift of conveying information) is "contagious" and draws fans & followers.
(c) Where you have followers, you must have a leader, and there is your "thought leader," once again blazing the trail to our amazement.
