Selbst auf der Ebene der Europäischen Union scheinen manche Instrumente in ihren Grenznutzenbereich zu kommen. Insofern stellt sich die Frage, wie sich Europa in der Welt zu positionieren hat, um erfolgreich zu bleiben. Mit Prof. Dr. Rolf Steltemeier, Direktor und Büroleiter der United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) und des Investment and Technology Promotion Office (ITPO) in Deutschland, war ein hochkarätiger Diplomat des UN-Systems am Deutsch-Ungarischen Institut für Europäische Zusammenarbeit a Mathias Corvinus Collegium zu Gast.
