Today I sit down with Lt. Alex Roehner from the A&E show: Nightwatch Nation. Alex is a Paramedic, Supervisor as well as the Coordinator of the Community Paramedic Division at Empress EMS in Yonkers,New York. Alex has a very powerful story about her personal battle with addiction, subsequent recovery and what she is doing to help others battling addiction.
We talk about her experience filming the Nightwatch Nation series and some other projects that she’s working on. “Candid,” “Powerful,” and“Inspiring” are 3 words I would use to describe this episode.
I hope you kids have been enjoying the “Late Calls” episodes. I am always open to suggestions about topics you want me to cover in the name of continuing education or personal enrichment. Don’t forget to subscribe to the YouTube channel. I’m up to 70 subscribers and my goal is 100 by the end of 2018.
