These are the words of Jim Metzner, who is a longtime expert in telling stories with sound. His hallmark is the distinctive use of ambient sound. Beside his productions for National Geographic or NASA Jim Metzner has been producing a short format science program since 1988 with more than 6,000 episodes. He acoustically deals with environmental issues all over the world. More than 250 public and commercial broadcast outlets worldwide currently air “Pulse of the Planet”. More than one million listeners per month hear each episode.
