Mega Teams in the NBA – Years ago, LeBron James made the statement that he was “taking his talents to South Beach” and began the trend of “mega teams,” which has franchises electing to try and bring in a handful of top tier players for a short amount of time to instantly make them compete for an NBA championship. We discuss the impact that it has had on the league, compare it to some of the other dynasties of the past and whether this is just a fad, or a trend that is here to stay in the NBA.
