This is the first in what is hopefully a series of episodes about cults and the people who leave them. Simone is a former Jehovah's Witness. Maybe you, like me, never thought of this group as a "cult," and if that's the case then you should definitely watch this episode. I'll never look at them the same way after hearing Simone's story. She is admirably brave for agreeing to share with me the extremely unacceptable actions that occurred while she was in the cult, and what it was like for her getting out while the rest of her family stays in.

This is more than morbid fascination. I want someone, somewhere to see this episode and realize they can leave whatever messed up situation they're in, whether it's a cult, relationship, or anything else that strikes them as "wrong." Let Simone's strength carry you to the point of exit, which is just the beginning.
