Donning the proper cowboy hat in the Mid-West isn't always the way to rock. Butch Heath did not care one bit. Stories, feelings, songs, the old fashioned way, Heath had his share of attempts with rockabilly and a touch of Rock Around The Clock. But it was the singers, songs, and songwriting that told the old tales like no one else could that pulled Heath into his own time zone as a master country artist.
