In this episode, I cover a range of activities that incorporate technology, collaboration, and choice to make learning more enjoyable and interactive for your students. From choice boards to literary field trips, student-led book talks to silent debates, there's something for every teaching style.

Some of these activities may seem intimidating to plan or may have been overlooked earlier in the year, but I encourage you to give them a try. By trying new things now you’ll be keeping the learning experience fresh and exciting, plus you’ll be able to work out the kinks so you can incorporate the ideas next year.

In this episode on finishing the year strong, I share:

  • Choice boards - always a good thing to offer students choices in their learning
  • Student Led Book Talks - let students be in control
  • Literary Field Trips - incorporates technology and literature
  • Book Clubs - provide a real world experience
  • Silent Debates - a great way for students to collaborate
  • Podcasts - fun ideas for students to work together in an argumentative or persuasive unit
