Sixty five years ago, on the evening of August 21st, 1955, one of the seminal high strangeness events in Kentucky, and international history, would occur at a small farmhouse on the edge of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, at a place called Kelly. Tonight, we speak to Geraldine Sutton Stith, daughter of Kelly experiencer Elmer ‘Lucky’ Sutton, about the events of that warm August evening and the lasting effects of the visitation of the cosmic to the town of Hopkinsville, and on the field of UFOlogy and the study of the strange in general. In this discussion we talk on everything from the Kentucky Goblins and where they came from, and Kelly’s connections to Hellier, to a variety of phenomena at large and the nature of belief in the otherworldly itself. Journey back with us sixty five years to Kelly, Kentucky, and to one of the events that put the commonwealth on the map in the modern age of high strangeness. Try not to get your hair pulled by a goblin, Nightowls, and join Midnight in Kentucky in conversation with Geraldine Sutton Stith!
