Cada 14 de agosto la Iglesia Católica celebra a San Maximiliano María Kolbe (1894-1941), sacerdote y fraile franciscano conventual que murió voluntariamente en el campo de concentración de Auschwitz (Polonia) durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. El P. Kolbe pidió ser intercambiado por un prisionero a punto de ser ejecutado. El Padre Willie nos demuestra que de esta manera San Maximiliano María Kolbe da testimonio y ejemplo de dignidad, en medio de la más terrible adversidad.
