On June 24, 2014, atheist philosopher Evan Fales (University of Iowa) and Mike Licona (Houston Baptist University) debated the question of whether Jesus rose from the dead. This debate is in 4-parts. This is Part 1 and is a 30-minute lecture by Licona on whether historians can investigate miracle claims followed by 30-minutes of audience Q&A. The debate took place at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. There were approximately 20 audience members, all of whom had been selected.
