What was the secret sacred elixirs known as Soma and Homa in the ancient world? Was it a psychedelic? Stimulant? Or something else? We will take a look at all the options tonight. In part 1 I interviewed Cannabis Historian and author Chris Bennett as he puts forth his hypothesis for why he believes it was Cannabis. In part two I interview academic and author Matthew Clark who puts forth in his hypothesis that Soma and Homa were both middle eastern ayahuasca analogs. I will add the links for both of those episodes below. Finally in this part I will go over all the other compelling evidence and possibilities to try to figure out what was the ancient elixirs known as Soma and Homa.

Also on my patreon page I will be creating a philosophy course on how to investigate and navigate the fringe communities and topics and giving and honest assessment of the main researchers and calling out the snake oil salesmen.
