Then, Lacy sits down with Norm Desmarais, Founding Partner and Member of the Board of Directors for TiER 1 Performance in Covington to discuss their annual event, The Scurry. He explains the Scurry's mission for mental health and how the 'Amazing Race"-style event was created with the help of former Bengals Coach Marvin Lewis.
Norm also talks about how TiER 1's mission has 'scurried' into the general community and how it has made an impact on several mental health organizations. Benefactors of The Scurry include; The Lindner Center of Hope, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and the Northern Kentucky Children's Home. Norm also discusses TiER 1's decision to go through an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program) and what led them down that route.
