Jane Epstein comes on the podcast to share her courageous story. Between the ages of 6 and 12, Jane was sexually molested by her sibling. Years later, after barely graduating high school Jane went to college to study court reporting. Her time in college didn't last long and she ended up dropping out to become a stripper. Jane talks about how stripping filled the gaps of the trauma she experienced as a child. In 1989 she met her late husband Mark in the strip club, she describes him as her "knight". Mark eventually passed away from cancer and a couple of years later she got remarried.
Now Jane makes a strong effort to share her story so that she can help advocate for other survivors and other people that will be impacted by her experiences
