In 2014/2015, Brian anticipated that the resource sector was closing in on a bottom, and he wanted to access more capital for the expected up-cycle. So he sold his home and then invested 2/3 of the home sale proceeds into resource stocks. By August 2016, he saw his invested funds triple in value.
