The bank had been robbed. Deputy Charlie Parcell was dead. The Eden Cafe had been temporarily closed on the account of copious amounts of blood on the tables and floor. It's just wasn't shaping up to be Sheriff Ferguson's day. To make matters worse, Bobby-Jack's brush with an anachronistic viewing of Ben-Hur at the Plantation Movie House in Jubilation had spurred him on to turn some junkyard refuse and Sweetie the Mule into his own personal chariot. While Zenobia and Sam tried to help Horace piece together the details of the Herons' bank heist, Wee Humphrey was out trying to find a good spot to bury his bumper... and that's not a euphemism for anything. All of these events are about to collide and, when they do, you'll believe mules can fly.
