Season One of Mission History transports you to America in the 1770s and 80s. We’ll follow the path of the American Revolutionary War with a focus on two units, one from America and one from Scotland, who fought in nearly every major engagement. We’ll trace the experiences of the generals, the battlefield commanders, and the men and women on the front lines. From the cities of Boston, New York, and Philadelphia to the fields and swamps of the Carolinas and Georgia, you’ll hear the story of the birth of a new nation from a new perspective.

We’ll take you to a battlefield in Camden, South Carolina to hear from the veterans, archeologists, and forensics teams who rescued the remains of 14 soldiers from shallow graves that were in jeopardy of being destroyed. And we’ll end with the emotional, once-in-a-lifetime event that brought together dignitaries and soldiers from four nations to honor the fallen.
