Part of being a parent is helping to teach our kids to have—and utilize—a creative mindset. And even though sometimes it can be a struggle to bring a creative idea to life, there are plenty of lessons to be learned from the process itself. Jeff Fajans, a Creative Performance & Executive Coach, joins Adam and Marc to chat about the potential benefits of carving out time in our lives for creative passion. To round out the episode, Marc shares some recent bedtime routine struggles.

Episode 71 of Modern Dadhood opens with a discussion of Marc's 4 year old son's new chosen moniker and accompanying hand signal, followed immediately by Adam sharing a recent grocery store experience for a conscience check. The guys begin talking about the value of dads expressing themselves creatively, and Marc gives an update on his musical project Stuffed Animal before they play back a recent chat with Creative Performance & Executive Coach and musician, Jeff Fajans. Jeff lives in Colorado with his wife and son Hendrix, and releases music for kids under the name "MrBoodaddy." Conversation topics include:
• How Jeff uniquely blends executive coaching and inspiring people to follow their creative passions
• What holds so many parents back from pursuing creative endeavors
• Jeff's inspiration for starting the MrBoodaddy project
• His writing and recording process
• What Jeff hopes that Hendrix will get out of the experience
• And more!
To round out the episode, Marc shares some recent bedtime routine snuggles.
