What are spells?

1. Spells are what you speak and the words you say, essentially a ritual to bring forth a desired intention(s). To bring forth those intentions one can use candles, crystals, music, fire, relics, mantras, movement, herbs, oils and so forth. Some spells are simple while others are more complicated.
2. A religious ritual is any repetitive and patterned behavior that is prescribed by or tied to a religious institution, belief, or custom, often with the intention of communicating with a deity or supernatural power.
