There are many studies and research done on the power of gratitude and the outcomes prove the benefits such as:

  • Happiness
  • Satisfaction with life
  • Success
  • Increase self-esteem
  • Have a more positive outlook on life
  • Reduce materialism
  • Creating the life you wish

Professor Martin Seligman, originator of the “Three Good Things” exercise, from the University of Pennsylvania, encourages people to come up with three positive experiences, situations or things that took place that day, and after two to three weeks, people were able to recognize a great deal of improvement in their overall happiness.
