Today's shalom-making JOY meditation will focus on and conclude with young Mary/Miriam. Amidst a scandalous pregnancy, she dared to utter an unlikely joy from the depths of her soul + body. Her incarnate mothering gave birth to the Incarnate Messiah. Asé + Amen.

Momma Mary (Miriam) is the epitome of rising and making something of life, together, in community, in the face of suffering. SOULjourner, what song or poem (original or not) is calling your joy forth?
