I am sure most moms will take any advice when it comes to helping us have a more productive day but I guarantee if you build this practice into your routine you can have a more purposeful and productive day.
What journaling can look like:

  1. A digital working document (i.e. in your GDrive)
  2. Keeping a written journal ( i used to do this but my hand would start to hurt and that would make me not want to journal)
  3. Bullet notes for your day (gratitude, to-do-lists, keep it in a place where it can stay compiled)

What journaling does:

  1. Organizes thoughts- gain clarity (think where do I start, why am I feeling what I'm feeling)
  2. Relieves stress and anxiety
  3. Gives us direction. Makes us more purposeful. Increases our self-esteem/confidence

What my practice looks like
1. What I’ve learned
2. My intention for the day
3. 3 things I'm grateful for
4. Top 3 things I need to get done today
5. Then I write to myself or my kids

Remember
Journal writing gives us insights into who we are, who we were, and who we can become.” – Sandra Marinella
