S2 E2 | My Story : Married to an Alcoholic
Manage episode 419743701 series 3285164
It's taken me a long time to tell this story. The path is not straight and the road is long. But for moms living with a partner in active addiction this loud messy story may seem familiar.
This episode I share the story of marriage and its impending end. But this episode comes with a special warning. Yes, trigger warning for abuse but also the sounds of violence. In addition to telling you my story I've tried to convey the feeling. The individual acts in each of stories my be different but the feelings of being in this type of marriage are very common. That is what I hope to share.
So if you have time, I invite you to sit with me for the hardest story I'll ever have to tell.
