Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Almighty God is a place of shelter and refuge. I think of a strong roof above my head or a heavy blanket laid on me. God’s provision for us is strong, solid, deep, consistent and rich. It is always there standing firm.
Psalm 121:1-2 “I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”
