In this episode, I interview Dr. Maureen Michele Petersen –a physician, life coach, and retired US Army colonel— about her ability to use her own experiences in life and turn them into something good in order to fulfill her purpose of helping others. Through her own closely lived experience as a pediatrician and mother navigating the major complications of her daughter’s medical diagnoses, Maureen learned that while so much was beyond her control, her response to all of the uncertainty and overwhelm, was within her reach.

Listen to our interview, of the gift of challenges and using them to grow, and of positively impacting what seems impossible to face by equipping and empowering families. Maureen’s passion for helping others to build resilience and to navigate life after a diagnosis will remind you that no matter what you are grieving, life is not over, and you can still do great things. Any given situation is not good, or bad, it simply is.

Get to know more about Maureen, her practice and her passion for helping others by tuning into her journey here, and on her social media accounts.
