The animal identified as a baby hedgehog in yesterday's news item Shelter rescues parched animals as France bakes was in fact a baby squirrel. Our apologies to all concerned.

Concert at the Prince's Palace: Symphonic concert by the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Jaap van Zweden with Beatrice Rana, piano. Includes pieces by Piotr Ilitch Tchaikovsky and Ludwig van Beethoven. At 21:30 at the Prince's Palace - Cour d'Honneur.
