OoooooooooooWeeee, White folks be entitled sometimes. Damn. "Why do you got something nice that I ain't got? You musta done something wrong to get it?"
There isn't a ton of change that can be exacted due to the lack of attention that people have to actually make change. Y'all remember Ocean Spray cranberry juice dude? That shit was three years ago. And what about Stanley Cups? (person reading this in June..."Oh damn, I forgot about that.")
Sometimes when a loved one passes on they have ways of letting us know that they are still watching us. It's some woo woo shit, but "ghost winks" was a term that Kirk stole from the latest Haunted Mansion movie with Rosario and Lakeith, and it directly talks about it.
The best way to get to people and to have honest conversation is to share a meal, a coffee, or a snack. Nobody fights when they are eating. Real conversation can happen, and people usually have the means of discussing how they feel without repercussion and/or hate. Eat more. Fight less.

This is me, Kirk, chatting it up with my mom, Marilyn.
Since we record every Monday, I decided on the title "Mondays With Marilyn".
We also have our good friend Lisa who joins in from time to time.
There is some swears and some heavy topics.
About Marilyn:
Marilyn is the mother of Kirk and his three older brothers, Kevin, Felton, and Craig. She has been a pillar of strength, intelligence, passion, and kindness in their lives. She has been instrumental in the development of Kirk no matter how much of a disappointment he is. She also has a fuckton of grandkids which she will mention often...cause she's old.

About Kirk:
Kirk is a Sr. Brand Designer at Monterey Bay Aquarium, Founder and Creative Director of MIND THE FONT™, proud CO HOST of the Kirk + Kurtts's Design Podcast, and Marilyn's biggest pain in the ass. When Kirk isn't harassing his mom, you can find him actively chilling on the couch with his wife Miriam, drinking cocktails, watching tv, and playing video games.
