Ahoy there, surfers and beachgoers! Get ready to catch some waves and soak up the sun with your New York surf zone forecast! Let's dive right in.
Starting off in Kings (Brooklyn), where the surf height is around 3 feet today. The rip current risk is moderate, so be cautious out there. The UV index is moderate, wear your sunscreen! Expect mostly cloudy weather with a chance of showers and storms. Highs will be in the lower 80s with winds starting from the south at 5 mph and picking up to around 15 mph later on.
Moving on to Southern Queens, surf height around 3 feet with a moderate rip current risk. Same UV index and surf temp as Kings. Watch out for possible thunderstorms tomorrow. Winds from the south around 5 mph, increasing later.
Down to Southern Nassau, surf height 3 feet with a moderate rip current risk. Today, no thunderstorms in sight. Same UV index. Expect mostly cloudy skies and a high temperature in the upper 70s.
In Southwestern Suffolk, surf height around 3 feet with a moderate rip current risk. No thunderstorms today. Moderate UV index. Partly sunny weather with upper 70s temperature. South winds 5 to 10 mph.
And last but not least, Southeastern Suffolk, surf height around 3 feet, moderate rip current risk. Enjoy the partly sunny weather and lower 80s temperature today. Be cautious as the UV index is moderate.
Remember, if you hit the waves, always keep a flotation device handy and stick close to a lifeguard. And never underestimate the power of rip currents! Swim within sight of a lifeguard and stay safe out there.
Stay tuned for updates and keep those surfboards waxed and ready for action! This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation with the help of AI. Please subscribe and never miss a Swell! Thank you for listening. 🌊🏄‍♂️
