We are hopeful when we build a business but who doesn't know that things can go wrong from time to time? So many startups and small businesses don't make it just because they failed to plan. On the other hand, planning is not easy. I remember beings so excited as I had the idea to start a business. It did not take too long before I discovered that I was not thinking this through. Just to have the running costs covered is not going to leave you in a comfortable spot. You need to be able to pay yourself (and your employees). And what do you do if someone falls ill and is not able to work for a prolonged period? By the way, you also need to make a profit, right? I know all this can be really overwhelming, since I have been there too. In this episode I share with you the elements you need to consider to build a financial safety net around your business.
